We are looking to recruit a Depot Project Manager Class 378 5 Car Insertion Manager to join our Services division in New Cross Gate for a 12-Month Fix Term Contract.

Your role:

To lead the planning, mobilisation and recovery to steady state operations for the NLR/ELR 5 Car Transition Project whilst the maintenance facilities and operations are altered to provide for 5 car maintenance and repair operations. This position will be the day-to-day lead contact for Bombardier with RfL, LOROL and the main construction contractor. The role will involve managing changes at both New Cross Gate and Willesden maintenance facilities. During the changes, operational maintenance and repairs, safety and welfare of staff will be paramount.

Your Challenges:

- Manage and continually review plan and milestone delivery
- Managing with the project team the delivery of the variation to the contract (5 Car Transition)
- Changes to maintenance methods and planning
- Management of temporary project resources (not production personnel)
- All operational project liaison with RfL and LOROL, and construction contract leads, and MSA contract review

Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience

You must demonstrate strong and proven experience in the following:

- Proven experience of managing multi-million pound projects (planning, cost control, budgetary controls and delivery)
- Strong experience of client Interface in a previous position
- Strong knowledge of contract management
- Strong commercial skills and business acumen
- Construction site safety conditions
- Railway operations (highly desirable)
- Railway depot operations (highly desirable)
- Understanding of Health & Safety issues
- Excellent relationship management skills
