My client a bespoke software provider is currently looking for a 1st Line Technical Support Analyst to join a vibrant support team providing technical after-care to bespoke product implementations.
This would ideally suit a first or second jobber who has experience of supporting clients remotely within a bespoke and application support environment. This is a high volume telephone based role so customer service is key as well as communicative skills.
The ideal candidate will have an analytical and methodical approach and someone who is able to think outside the box and has thirst for learning and knowledge. Some technical knowledge such as active directory, windows operating systems, Terminal Server, SQL, Networking concepts would be ideal. Experience of call logging systems and a help desk environment. Questions range from how do I install the product to back up and restore procedures in SQL.
This will not suit someone who is looking to stay in a Microsoft Product help desk environment with sole skills around this area as this is very much a bespoke software support role / application support role.
